Perfectly Located For A Little Retail Therapy

FB Blog - Perfectly Located For Retail TherapyWe are lucky at Springwood to have the best of both shopping worlds right on our doorstep.

We are only a short distance from London but also have the picturesque and quaint cobbled streets of Dorking and Horsham and their artisan and unique shops a short drive away.  That’s why so many of our guests choose Springwood for a weekend break away from it all.

One of our favourite shopping destinations has to be Convent Garden. Nestled in the heart of London, Convent Garden is the perfect place for a fantastic day out and it really does have it all.

Convent Garden is steeped in culture and history but has a very modern edge too. There is a tangible buzz of excitement and wonder around every corner.

There are a wide variety of bars, cafes and restaurants to enjoy whilst you take a break from shopping to grab a well-earned coffee and slice of cake, or indulge in a leisurely lunch, soaking up the unique atmosphere of this vibrant place.

The amazingly talented street artists will entertain you as you wander around and we guarantee that you will not be able to resist the temptation of stopping for a while to watch.

We promise that the shopping in Convent Garden, which boasts some of the leading designer and High Street names, as well as quaint boutiques, independent shops and market traders, will not disappoint. In fact you will be spoilt for choice!

Why not treat yourself to a special break away at Springwood and, on one of the days, you can enjoy a little retail therapy.  Choose from exploring the local towns and villages or taking the short train journey into London for some more serious shopping.

If London is on the menu, you could also end the day with an evening at the theatre – there are so many to choose from. We would, however, highly recommend booking early as Fridays and Saturdays are the theatres’ busiest days and remember not all shows run a Sunday performance!

Go on, when’s the last time that you said “thank you” to yourself!
